Privacy Policy

This privacy policy describes how Sauce Media LLC (“Sauce Media”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use Henshu at henshu.app and agency/client workspaces hosted on Henshu domains.

1. Information We Collect

Account information — name, email, profile photo, role, timezone, and sign-in identity provided by Google, Discord, Slack, or our local password sign-in.
Workspace content — tasks, comments, messages, files, and media you create or upload while using the platform.
Connected social accounts — if you authorize Henshu to publish on your behalf to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or other platforms, we store the access tokens and the public profile identifiers each platform returns. We do not collect your social platform password.
Operational logs — IP address, user-agent, and timestamps of significant actions, used for security and debugging.

2. How We Use Information

To operate the platform: render workspaces, route tasks, deliver notifications, and publish scheduled posts to social platforms you have connected.
To secure the platform: detect abuse, debug failures, and respond to incidents.
To communicate with you about your account: invitations, security notifications, and product updates.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share workspace content with third parties except as required to deliver the service (e.g. posting your video to TikTok via the TikTok Content Posting API).

3. Third-Party Platforms

When you connect Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or another social platform, you authorize Henshu to use that platform’s API on your behalf for the actions you initiate (publishing posts, fetching analytics). The data exchanged is governed by the third-party platform’s terms, in addition to this policy:

4. Data Storage & Security

Workspace data is stored on infrastructure operated by Sauce Media. Access tokens to third-party platforms are stored encrypted at rest. Access to production data is restricted to authorized Sauce Media operators and is logged.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and workspace data for as long as your account is active. Deleted content (cards, messages, files) is held in soft-delete for up to 30 days before permanent removal. Operational logs are retained for up to 90 days.

6. Your Rights — Access, Export, Deletion

You can request a copy or deletion of your personal data at any time.

How to request data deletion

Email hello@saucemedia.us with the subject “Data Deletion Request” and include the email address tied to your account. We will confirm within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days.

If you reach this page from an automated platform request (Meta, TikTok), the deletion endpoint is at POST https://henshu.app/api/data-deletion and the public status page is at https://henshu.app/data-deletion-status?code=….

7. Children

Henshu is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The “Effective” date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice.
