Find the source without leaving the job behind
A client may keep its brand assets in Google Drive while your team plans the work in Henshu. The Files area can connect a Google Drive account so you can browse the files available to that account. Keep the production task clear about which asset is the approved source.
Connect with a clear scope
- Open Files and choose the Google Drive connection when it is available for your workspace.
- Sign in to the intended Google account and review the permissions.
- Browse the folder that contains the approved assets.
- Use the available file actions for the work, then check the destination and access.
A connection is not a permission shortcut
Provider connections are personal by default. The owner can choose to share a connection with the workspace where that option is available. Google permissions still apply. Check the connected identity before sharing access, and review the account if files become unavailable or it needs sign-in again.
Know what stays where
Browsing a connected source does not move your whole Drive into Henshu or create an automatic two-way sync. A deliberate file transfer creates a copy at the chosen destination. Keep track of which copy is the source of truth. The public demo uses local sample files labeled Google Drive; it does not connect your Google account.
